What’s Up Weekend 5.22.20
Happy Friday everyone! We survived another week! We had some great weather this last week which is always a good thing. I have to say the time sure seems to be flying by even while we are just stuck at home. I’m here again with Charlotte and Lindsay to celebrate the good of the week with our What’s Up Weekend link up. Now more than ever it’s so important to shout out the things we are grateful for and made us happy and spread some positive vibes out into the world. Here’s my list for this week!
My family is healthy and safe.
We finally had a bonfire last Friday evening and it was so nice!
My co-workers and I did a distance parking lot baby shower for one of our fellow co-workers who had a baby in April. It was so nice to see her and the baby from a distance and to just see each other for a few minutes too.
Because it was rainy on Sunday, Ollie and I made cookies and it was a nice way to spend the afternoon.
Having a pizza and movie night with my best boys and watching Monsters, Inc.
Starting to watch one of our favorite shows, Psych, from the beginning again.
The person I really hoped would win the Voice was the winner! I adored Pastor Todd. He just seems so genuine and has a great voice.
This goober and how even when he makes me crazy, he makes me smile every single day. Distance learning is almost over for the year. I have many thoughts about our first year of kindergarten and how it was disrupted that maybe I’ll try to write next week. We’ll see.
Being spoiled with a delicious steak dinner from Nate for our date night at home the other night. Our anniversary isn’t until next week but this would have made a great anniversary meal!
The fact that we’re going to have a three day weekend. I know we’re at home all the time right now anyway, but having three days where we don’t have to sit at a computer and work is going to be bliss.
I find it crazy that it’s already Memorial Day weekend. As I said at the beginning, time is moving quickly and normally I want time to slow down but right now I think it’s OK. The faster the time goes, the closer we are to the end of this thing. Hopefully. Anyway, I hope you all have a great weekend. We’re going to do our best to kick off summer even if summer is going to look a bit different this year. We will still make the most of it. Hey, at least there is no snow!
Feel free to link up with the ladies and I below and check out the other posts as well.
