What I Wore November

It’s almost the end of the month (what? How??) so since it’s the last Wednesday of the month I’m playing fashion blogger again and sharing my favorite looks from the month. As always you can play dress up with me on Instagram (@beth.kondrick or @thatthriftyunicorn) but today I’ll go into a little more detail on the looks I loved this month.

Sweater – Gap (via garage sale), T-shirt – Ann Taylor (from cousin), Pants – Kenzie (from cousin), shoes – thrifted, Necklace – KEEP, Earrings – Eleven 10 Designs

I followed along with a couple of gals on Instagram who do a “Pinned It, Spinned It” with outfits they’ve found on Pinterest this month. There was a week where every look they had chosen I had the perfect items for. This one was super easy to put together. I skipped the heels though because one, I’m 38 and my feet don’t love em like they used to and two, it was kind of chilly outside that day.

Sweater Dress – Wild Fable (Thrifted), Jean Jacket – Old Navy (thrifted), Leggings – Lularoe, Boots – Thrifted

Give. Me. All. The. Mustard/Gold. It has become my color. I love it on me and and I’m finding there are so many ways to mix it with other things, it’s almost like a neutral. This little dress is a perfect example too of something I would have loved to have bought new at Target but because of my secondhand only challenge did not, but low and behold it showed up at the thrift store with original tags still on. I don’t know if Target dumped it off or someone who bought it and never returned it, but I rescued it from the landfill and that’s what matters most!

Sweater – American Eagle (thrifted), Jeans – Lularoe, Boots – DSW, Scarf – from cousin, Bag – Kate Spade (thrifted)

This was a super simple casual Friday look but I love it. This sweater is one of my new favorite things, it’s soft and warm. I didn’t have white sneakers or a white blouse but I thought this white scarf worked well and it was fun to dress it up with my cute boots.

Sweater – LOFT (from cousin), Pants – birthday gift, Boots – from cousin, Necklace – Stella and Dot

How fun are these red pants? I kind of picked them out when I was shopping with my mom at Style Encore the other day and she wrapped them up and gave them to me for my birthday. Thrifted gift for the win! Seriously though I haven’t had a fun colored pair of pants for awhile. I had some bright pink ones that bit the dust recently, so these are fun to have as a replacement. And they’ll be festive for the upcoming holiday season too!

Sweater – Papillon (via Style Encore), Pants – Express (thrifted), Vest – Merona (thrifted), Boots – Target, Necklace – KEEP

And this look is from today and might be my favorite of all of them. I love how it all came together. I have been wanting a fur, well fake fur, vest for a little bit and found the perfect one at Savers. Add it to this fun sweater dress I bought at Style Encore and some fun leggings and boom, instant stylish outfit for a snowy day. I’m seriously in love. And I just want to sit and pet myself, ha!

There you have it! We’re pretty much well into winter looks at this point and my goal this winter is to keep from getting bored. I’m going to try to remix my closet as much as I can and maybe turn to Pinterest for inspiration much like my friends on Instagram do. Winter style can be fun! I will prove it! (Let’s see if I still feel that way come March though, ha!)

  1. I absolutely LOVE that last outfit- it all comes together so perfectly! I also really like that gray sweater, it looks soooo comfy! The only thing I like about winter fashion are warm, chunky sweaters lol. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving with the fam! 🙂

  2. I really love your shoes in the very first pic, but ya… I can’t do heels anymore either! More power to those who can but I ain’t busting my ass just to get a bit of oomph. But out sucks because they totally elevate a look, don’t they??

That last outfit is adorable. Love all of those looks and yes to target mustard sweater dress!!!
