May is quickly disappearing! I cannot believe it is almost June. As I like to do towards the end of the month, I thought I’d share some of my favorite things I discovered in May. Here they are in no particular order!
Bliss Rose Gold Rescue Toner – I talked last month about how much I’m loving the Bliss products from Target, but this one might be my new holy grail. It’s so easy to spray on after I wash my face and it seems to be (knock on wood) helping my cystic acne. And it smells nice too!
Broken and Beautiful by Kelly Clarkson – I don’t listen to much mainstream radio, so I somehow missed this amazing new song by Kelly. It’s from the Ugly Dolls soundtrack I guess, but I heard it for the first time this week and I absolutely fell in love. This is going to be my shout in the car anthem. Let’s celebrate our imperfections and broken pieces, we’re still beautiful. This song is seriously everything.
Dogfish Head Sea Quench Ale – I had this out at dinner the other night and this may rival my go to summer beer, Short Pants from Bauhuas Brew Labs. This sour session ale is not overly sour, it’s refreshing and delightful. I think I’ll be grabbing this on the way out of town because it’s going to be a perfect cabin beer on vacation!
Street Food on Netflix – We’ve finished all of the episodes of Chef’s Table to date, so we decided to give Street Food a stream. It’s possibly even better than Chef’s Table. It follows 2-3 people in each episode in a portion of the world and they are all street food vendors but let me tell you, their food looks amazing. In fact, in the first episode they featured a street food vendor from Thailand who won a Michelin star. The only frustrating thing is that the show is almost all subtitles, so you will have to pay attention so you don’t miss anything, but I’d say it’s a half hour well spent. These stories are amazing.
Lularoe Nicki Dress – This is a new style from Lularoe that I snagged at my friend Cyndy’s Lularoe anniversary party last week. It’s sleeveless and it has pockets and it’s so flirty and fun. And today it’s finally going to be warm enough to wear it, so I had to pull it out! This is going to be a summer staple for me, I can already tell!
