Humpday Confessions 5.8.19
Guess what day it is? Humpday! So guess what it’s time for? Humpday Confessions! Time to bare all and clear my conscious and you all get to come along. Let’s do this!
That I chopped my hair off again. Pixie life returns. I just don’t do well with longer hair as much as I wish I could. I’ll probably get a bug up my butt to grow it out again later but for now, short hair, don’t care.
That I didn’t read a single book in April. It was not for lack of trying, I just couldn’t get into anything I picked up. Thankfully my reading mojo has returned and I actually have three books I’m really excited about in my stack at the moment and I’ve been reading every day again.
That I’m seriously considering using Target’s drive up service later today because I need some groceries and it’s going to be raining and yuck.
That our vacation to Itasca is about a month away and it’s seriously all I can think about.
That aside from a Style Encore trip a couple of weeks ago I haven’t been in a thrift store in over a month and I’m starting to get withdrawal even though there is nothing I really need right now.
That we’ve been living out of laundry baskets again, the laundry is clean, I just have been too busy to sit down and put it away.
That by busy I mean some nights I’ve been lazily playing solitaire on my phone again instead of doing chores that should really get done.
That the puzzle Nate and I are currently working on is a lot harder than we thought it would be and it’s taking us at least double the time to finish than the others we’ve done so far.
That we were able to convince Ollie to play on his own in the house the other day when it was nice out and Nate and I wanted to be outside and he didn’t. I had the backdoor open and could check on him just fine. He may have made a nice mess inside, but it was worth it to get a few minutes to read outside on a nice day.
And there we go. Phew that feels good. It’s all so naughty isn’t it? Haha!! Got anything you need to spill? Hit me in the comments. This is a safe place!
