What's Up Weekend

What’s Up Weekend 1.25.19

Happy Friday! It’s VERY cold here in the great state of Minnesota. We had been spoiled with some decent weather around Christmas time and now Mother Nature has decided to remind us that it is still Winter. Uffda. Anyway, I’m here with my ladies Charlotte and Lindsay for our weekly link up to look back at the good and happy things of the week in our What’s Up Weekend post. Nothing warms you up like thinking of warm fuzzies, right? So here’s my happy list for the week.

A family movie afternoon with my favorite boys

Hot coffee with a little cinnamon and nutmeg mixed in

My warm fuzzy Unicorn blanket

A day off with this guy (who looks entirely too old here!) and a donut date

A fun afternoon at a winery and getting bonus cheese and chocolate

Sunshine. It’s been cold, but getting to see the sun has been nice.

Silliness in the morning with this goofball

A nice visit with an old and dear friend

The nice smell from my new candle I made the other night.

And now we’re off to the weekend. We are going to do our best to stay warm! Might be another take things as they come kind of weekend. Also, I’m not going to elaborate, but I heard some news from our extended family last night that reminded me of the fragility of life. My biggest takeaway is to tell your people that you love them. You never know when something might happen. I love all of you. Have a great weekend!

Feel free to link up with us below and check out the other posts as well.

  1. Donut dates, though. There ain’t enough of those in the world! He does look like a man in charge in that shot. Maybe it’s the confidence that comes naturally from having two gorgeous donuts on your plate!

  2. I stayed in last night and watched a movie with my mom and it was great. Definitely a good choice for those cold days/nights and it’s supposed to get even MORE cold this week. Sheesh!! Mmm…I could go for some donuts. Ollie does look really big in that photo!!

  3. Stay warm Beth! We’re getting some cold weather too but I don’t think it’s quite as bad as what you’ve had. Ugh. A donut date sounds like fun, I need to make that happen with my donut-loving boy soon!
