Currently in April

Hello my lovelies! It’s the first Wednesday of the month which means it’s time for Currently with Anne of In Residence and her guest host this month, Jessica from I Am Teacher Fit. It’s still not very April like outside, but I believe Spring will come eventually! In the meantime, here are some current happenings in my world based on this month’s prompts.

~Currently I Am~

Showering – With the Love and Beauty shampoo and conditioner from Target. I have fallen in love with the rose scent, it is gentle on my hair and makes it so soft, it smells great and it’s good for the environment. Win!

Cultivating – My new KEEP business. My launch party officially starts online today and the new summer line is also out today, so great timing all around!

Expecting – An Amazon order with all the supplies needed to make macarons. After I took the class a couple of weeks ago I’ve had the bug to give it a try on my own. Nate is going to help me and we will see how we do!

Buying – We bought Nate’s Crosstrek as the lease was up at the end of March and guess who gets to drive it? Yours truly! We’re going to trade in my CRV and Nate will get a different car. I have loved my CRV and have been a pretty loyal Honda driver, but I really love the Crosstrek too (Hello heated seats!) so this is a fun change.

Cooking – We have been on a homemade pasta kick lately, we have a pasta crank and Ollie loves when we make spaghetti with it. And he loves to eat it as evidenced by the fistfulls he was shoving in his mouth the other night!

Lots of things going on! We’re busy but in a good way. I’m just overall really feeling great and kind of loving life right now. I’d love it even more if it was actually like spring outside though! Please send warm weather my way!

  1. I have heard great things about the Love and Beauty shampoo and conditioner from Target. I will have to check it out soon. Baking and cooking classes sounds like fun. How was the class that you took? I can’t wait to hear how your macarons turn out. I hope you have a great week.

  2. I’m with Ollie. I could eat pasta all day every day! And it sounds like we’re in the same boat… I’d love for Spring to show up any day now! Enjoy the new ride, and heated seats!

  3. Homemade pasta, yum! I think it would be fun to get the attachment for my mixer one day! Yay for making macarons at home (you’ll have to show us how they turn out!) and for starting a new business! I’m not at all familiar with Keep so I’ll have to check it out!

  4. What’s your KEEP business?

I’ve seen the Love and Beauty shampoo at Target but haven’t tried it. Now I am intrigued.

  5. Mm…pasta is the best. I wish I could just eat that all the time without worrying about gaining a million pounds. LOL Yay for getting a new car – heated seats sound lovely.

I’m so ready for actual Spring weather too. I know that Spring usually brings a ton of rain, but I could still use less of that too. haha

  6. I really want to hear about the macaroon you are going to make. That is one thing that seems so intimidating to make! Good luck and I hope to ready about your experience.
