Currently in February

It’s time for my favorite link up of the month, Currently with Anne of In Residence. It’s always fun checking on different things going on. Here are some current happenings based on the prompts for this month!

~Currently I Am~

Finishing – Cleaning up our basement. It’s been a huge project that we started last year and we’re just about done. We’ve thrown out so much and donated a bunch as well. We’re slowly getting to be less of packrats!

Subscribing – So I’m not really subscribing to any podcasts or any services of any kind but what I am trying to subscribe to is positive thinking.  I’ve been so negative this winter and I don’t like it. I’m trying to be more optimistic and complain less. It may spill over into a Lenten challenge for myself, we shall see!

Wishlisting – Items from Keep Collective. I’m having an online party through the end of this weekend and there are so many pretty things I’d love to add to my collection! I love how unique these jewelry items are and how they let you tell your own story!

Watching – The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. It is SO good. We’re trying to not binge it too fast but I’m guessing we’ll be done really quick. Also for my fellow 80s/90s kids, I watched the entire series of Zack Morris is Trash the other day (each episode is two minutes) and I laughed so hard. It really does show how Zack is pretty much the worst person, but that’s ok, I was always more of a Slater girl anyway.

Hearting – My boys. Sorry not sorry. I love them more than words.

February is a short month and I think it’s going to go by a lot faster than January did! What is Currently happening with you? Watching anything I should be adding to my list? Be sure to check out the other posts at Anne’s blog for more Current happenings with other bloggers!

  1. I’m clapping for you over here on your basement clean-out. That is something we desperately need to do and I just dread it because I know it will take FOREVER. Also, I keep hearing good things about that show!! It sounds like I just need to watch it.

  2. I have heard from so many people that The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is such a great show. I’ll have to check it out soon. We have also been busy decluttering our house. I can’t wait until it we’re done.

  3. I can’t wait to watch Mrs Maisel!!! Have heard such wonderful things!

Also I really love that you’ve been subscribing to positive thinking <3 that’s lovely and certainly something I need to do myself.

Uhm why haven’t I heard of this Zach Morris thing?! Sounds like someone will have to binge later 🙂

  4. Love seeing what you are up to this month! I absolutely loved that show (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) and can’t wait until they come out with a second season. I can’t wait to see what pretties you get as well from your KEEP party!

  5. Yes, I thought Mrs. Maisel was so fun! Which also made it kind of a bummer when I finished it… Love those bracelets too!

    Happy February 🙂

  6. Love the idea of subscribing to positive thinking! Definitely the way to go. 🙂

I’m glad February is shorter than January. I’m ready for some more spring like weather. I also have some fun things planned this month, so that’s always a plus.

  7. I wouldn’t say I was a Zack fan, but definitely wasn’t into Slater. Too many tanks, too much misogyny. I can still hear him referring to Jessie as “woman” in a very derogatory manner. Grrrrrrrrr….. (that being said… hello muscles!).

    1. I should say I would never choose Slater now, but my pre-teen self wasn’t all about feminism quite yet, lol. Not to mention I related to Jessie as a nerdy girl so I think that’s why I gravitated to him, lol!!

  8. My husband and I have been watched the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel – such a fun show. We have two more episodes.

I love that you are subscribing to more positive thinking – its harder some days but I have found its really easy than focusing on the negative.
