I don’t know that I can say much more today that I haven’t already said this week about my wedding. So instead of talking about my wedding, I’m instead going to talk about something else – marriage. Because you know what? The wedding is ONE day. One day. Hopefully your marriage is for the rest of your life.
I have loved every single day I’ve been married to Nate. My love continues to grow. And we’ve been through a LOT in ten years. Births, deaths, job changes and shifts, stresses, successes, triumphs, failures. Has it all been easy? No, of course not. Nothing in life is truly easy. Marriage is work. We work hard everyday, but at the end of each day, I still love him more than I did the day before. We were babies when we got married. And now we’re raising another person. I’ll be sharing a little more about marriage and parenthood over on North Star Unicorn today, so be sure to check that out.
No matter where our life has taken us, I regret none of it. I’m proud of us for where we’ve been, what we’ve survived and what we’ve accomplished. I simply love this journey we’re on. And maybe I sound like one of those people who couldn’t possibly be that happy in real life, but truly, I am.
I made a collage of pictures of us over the last ten years and I thought I’d end by sharing that. Happy Anniversary to my one true love. Cheers to the next decade. Cheers to our lifetime of love.
