Currently in May

It’s time once again for the Currently link up!  I always love this monthly check in hosted by Anne of In Residence and Jenna from Gold and Bloom!  Here are some Current happenings in our world!

Celebrating – May has become one of my favorite months for celebrating.  We will celebrate Mother’s Day this weekend with a brunch for our families.  And then as I’ve already been discussing, Nate and I celebrate ten years of marriage at the end of this month. So it’s just a happy time of year for us!

Pondering – How this little guy is getting so big!  We’re looking at preschools and starting to read up on potty training.  Craziness!

Going – To see the Twin Cities Ballet perform Cinderella as a 1944 style love story!  I had a blast seeing the Nutcracker from the Twin Cities Ballet back in December, so I’m really looking forward to this as well!

Sipping – Tomorrow is Cinqo de Mayo, so chances are, I’ll figure out a way to be sipping a margarita!

Reading – I’m a little obsessed with reading all the articles on Prince.  I found a copy of People at the grocery store this week and I plan to save this one in a memory box.

There you have it!  I’m happy we’re back to nice spring weather and I’m just looking forward to all this month has in store! What is currently new with you?  Make sure to stop by Anne or Jenna’s blogs for other Currently posts or to add your own!

  1. May really is such a great month for celebrating, I agree. And yes, I’m pondering the very same thing! I’ve been looking into preschools too (completely overwhelming!) although I’m still in denial/avoidance mode about potty training. I know I need to get started soon, but (in my whiniest voice) I don’t wanna!

    1. Shea, this makes me feel better given that Jona is a few months older than Hendrik and I am nowhere on potty training 🙂

      1. I’m honestly feeling relief knowing both of your kiddos are older than mine and are not potty trained yet. Let’s all help and support each other, lol!!

  2. Happy almost anniversary! A great milestone. And, especially with Mother’s Day coming up, I’m pondering exactly the same things. Time flies… preschool options?! Gah!
