Stitch Fix December Box

I decided to treat myself for Christmas and got a Stitch Fix box. It was scheduled to arrive on Christmas Eve, but lucky me, it came a day early! I was very happy to have my old stylist Amanda back – I found out she was gone because she had a baby! Anyway, she still has a magic touch in terms of my style, though there was one pretty big miss this time. Overall I was happy with what was sent though! Here are the items, what I kept and what I sent back. Also, added bonus this time, Nate was home and took my pictures for me as I tried things on!  Always nice to not have to set up the camera timer!

Collective Concepts Olive Blazer – Ok, so I’m using the Stitch Fix app on my phone now which is both dangerous and awesome at the same time. One thing the app does is let you peek at your fix a lot easier than you can do it when you’re online. And when I saw the picture of this blazer I knew right away I wouldn’t be keeping it. The color is just so blah, the fit is ok, but it’s just not my style anymore. Verdict: RETURNED

Loveappella V-neck T-shirt – This shirt is super soft and very cute, it is a hair baggy on me though, Nate didn’t care for the fit of it. I also decided in the end that I have a million striped things, I really don’t need one more. I may even need to update my profile to say no stripes, because I feel like I get something striped in almost every fix. Verdict: RETURNED

Coleman Weave Plaid Infinity Scarf – I was pretty excited to see a scarf included in my Fix this month. The price on this one is a little high, but I was pretty sure if the colors and pattern were something I liked that I would be keeping it. And I pretty much fell in love with it right out of the box. It’s crazy soft and warm. I wore it on Christmas Eve and I’m pretty sure I’ll be wearing it again soon. Verdict: KEPT

Kut from the Kloth Jonathan Skinny Cords – I was surprised at the cost of these pants. Usually the pants that Stitch Fix sends are crazy expensive, but these were reasonable. They’re a fun teal color that I don’t have in my closet already and like most of the pants from Stitch Fix, fit me like a glove. Given that colored pants and sweaters are my uniform most days, I had to keep these. Verdict: KEPT

Santos Embroidered Roll Tab Knit Top – I fell in love with this top before my Fix even arrived. It’s pretty basic, but fits great, has all my favorite colors and I think will go with a number of items in my closet. I also see it transitioning well to spring and it’s never too early to look ahead to those days! Verdict: KEPT

Overall I thought this Fix had some of the most variety I’ve seen in one of my boxes in a long time.  I’m pretty happy with the items I kept – I wore the scarf right away on Christmas Eve.  It’s definitely warm and cozy!  What do you think, did I keep the right things this time?

  1. Oh fun, a Christmas fix! I haven’t done one for a long time, but hopefully in the next month or two I will sign up for one. I love the things you kept–that scarf looks so warm and cozy, and I love the color of those cords! The details on that shirt are so pretty too!
