It’s a Brand New Day

It’s here.  The brand new blog.  I know you’ve all been on the edge of your seats waiting for this day! No?  Just me?  Well I’m pretty excited about it!

I have thought a lot about what my blog is about and what I want it to say about me.  I want this to be a welcoming place for everyone. I want to be like that neighbor you borrow a cup of sugar from but then stay and chat for awhile.  I want it to feel like we’re sitting down together and sharing a cup of coffee while talking about the funny things kids do, the latest fashion trends, the things we’ve been up to lately and even our trials and triumphs.  I think of myself as a pretty average, well rounded person. I rolled all these things into one and I found my new persona.

Welcome to The Beth Next Door.  You’re always welcome in my house!  Pull up a chair and grab a beverage and let’s chat.  I’ll thank you for not noticing the crumbs in the corners or the sticky floors. I’m a busy mom out living life and sometimes it isn’t always perfect!  But I promise good conversation no matter what.  I’ll always keep it real.  I hope you’ll feel at home here!

Thanks for sharing in this journey with me!  New web address, new social media handles, new look, same, but the same lovable Beth. Go big or go home right? This just feels like the right change for me at this point in my life and I’m really looking forward to having a renewed sense of purpose with this blog!

New social media handles (if you’re already following me, I’m just changing the name):

  1. Congrats! How exciting for you and your blog! Can't wait to see what's in store! Just so you know, the hyperlink for the Bloglovin icon is not working and that is how I follow blogs! I will look you up on the actual website though. Woo hoo!

    1. Thanks for letting me know about the Bloglovin button, I was having some difficulty getting that set up, I'll look into it to fix it because I know you're not the only one who uses that as a blog reader! 🙂

  2. Congrats on the new blog! I love that you want it to be like that neighbor you borrow sugar from, etc. Such a great picture. 🙂

    1. Aww, thanks! I am glad you like – and I'm glad the Bloglovin worked for you, it's not working for everyone for some reason!
